Querciabella is thrilled to announce a significant milestone with a key leadership change. We proudly welcome Mita Castiglioni as the new owner, ensuring Querciabella’s legacy remains firmly within the Castiglioni family.
Following a consensual agreement between siblings Sebastiano and Mita Castiglioni, this pivotal transition reaffirms Querciabella’s longstanding tradition as a family-owned company. Sebastiano’s decision to pursue his passion in the art dealership business aligns seamlessly with Mita’s vision to advance Querciabella’s commitment to environmental respect, social inclusion, and equitable economic development.

Drawing from her extensive experience as a Board Member and Shareholder in various companies, Mita brings strategic insights and leadership to her new role. Her engagement in cultural initiatives in Mexico and the United States has significantly enriched the arts landscape, complementing her corporate endeavours.
This change also paves the way for a generational takeover, with Mita’s children, Andrea and Selene, poised to play integral roles in Querciabella’s future. Andrea, along with his wife Marisa, runs a farm in Oregon and eagerly anticipates relocating to Italy to contribute to Querciabella’s continued success. Selene, currently residing in Barcelona, where she runs a speciality coffee business, has a background in working with Mexican institutions and non-profit organizations focused on the environment. Mita will maintain her residency in Mexico but will regularly be present at the winery, reaffirming Querciabella as the heart of the Castiglioni family’s life.
Under the new leadership, Querciabella remains true to its founding principles of excellence, innovation, and environmental stewardship. Roberto Lasorte, the current CEO, will continue to oversee the company’s management, embodying the continuity of its governance.
