Bruce Sanderson reviews Querciabella Chianti Classico 2016 in Wine Spectator weekly newsletter.
Wine Spectator lead taster for Tuscany has awarded Querciabella Chianti Classico 93 points, another great result for the sensational 2016 vintage.
Saturated black cherry and plum flavors are framed by earth, iron and tar notes in this dense, powerful red. Shows depth and a solid structure, but this is tightly packed and should be forgotten about for another three years. Best from 2024 through 2040. —B.S. (93/100)
